My name is April. I am writing to you on behalf of the ResPoNCE Project: Respecting persons with disabilities’ Needs and Rights in Crisis and Emergency.
We are a team at National University of Ireland Galway, investigating the impact of Covid 19 on persons with disabilities in Ireland, UK, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and Sweden. As part of Work Package 2 we recently launched a questionnaire to find out about the experiences of persons with disabilities during the pandemic.
I was wondering if you could share the above link to the website with the members of DPAC. Perhaps on social media or via a newsletter? We really want to reach as many disabled people as possible (including people of all ages, with all types of disabilities.)
Participants can submit via the online form (also available in Easy Read), via Zoom, via email or via post.
If you visit our website, you will see that one of our key research questions relates to the cost of disability and what disabled people had to do without to survive. So, our research is very relevant to your work.
