the BBC Disability news unit  are putting together a piece around the issue of “going to bed early”. In particular looking at people who have a care package that may mean they are put to bed at 8.30/9.00pm etc.
In particular they would like to speak to younger disabled adults in their 20s/30s/40s who may be affected by this issue and willing to share their story.
Please email us at mail@dpac.uk.net if you can help with this.

One Response to “BBC looking to talk to disabled adults whose social care package makes them retire to bed early in the evening”

  1. Im now in my 50’s,but, this having to recive homecare to get me ready for bed and getting at latest the home care at 8pm still leaves me unable to meet up with friends o going to any support groups or just living life of an adult.
I’ve been needing the assistance of home care package for many years and I’ve always found this one big bug bear and meaning that if I’m to have any social life that I need to cancel the evening call and not eat sleep in my clothes and it’s not good taking medication without food.
