In Plymouth, Unite Community are starting a group for people on benefits to get together, defend our rights, and campaign for a decent benefits system. Millions go unclaimed every year because we aren’t told what we can get. Campaigning has already made Universal Credit less harsh.
Come to the launch meeting on Tuesday 25th February from 1-3pm, in the Unite offices on Exeter Street (just past the jobcentre). We will be meeting on the ground floor, which is accessible. Tea, coffee, and sandwiches will be available.

Plymouth Benefits Solidarity is a campaign group organised by South Devon Unite Community, a branch in the community section of Unite the Union. ALL claimants are welcome to meetings, but we do recommend you join the union –

Don’t suffer universal credit alone – we are stronger together!
(non-claimants are also welcome to attend, but we understand the time will be difficult to make for people in work)
