With the upcoming Green Paper on social security benefits, as well as the Spring statement, DPAC is holding an online meeting to plan how we campaign against any so-called ‘welfare reforms’.

We will hear from speakers to lay out the context but, most importantly, we want to hear from disabled people and our allies on how we can work effectively to fightback against an increasingly hostile environment.Register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/c6qNCqLqSguDQtuzVqHQgQ

  1. Absolutely the easiest target to take from the disabled, this is not Great Britain anymore. Heart breaking to see what’s happening

  2. They pick on the weakest..disabled…old and other very vulnerable people…so many genuine are literally terrified and some have said they will die and others will kill themselves if the cruel cuts take away their lifeline which is pip

  3. They’re trying to switch from cash payments to vouchers only and we must keep on top of that as it won’t work. Also, we need to try & get our bus pass times changed from 9.30am to 8am, as many of us are on school runs, can’t walk or can’t get taxi’s to take us or pick us up as they are on their own school runs too.

  5. I am sorry but I am unable to make the meeting. I would be happy to get involved in any protests or campaigns to prevent this awful attack on the disabled and vulnerable by the so called Labour party.

  6. Totally disgusting the way sick and disabled people are stigmatized.do people actually realized the amount of expenses claimed my MPs. Pity we’re not all Rachel reeves and get out £4.400 energy bills paid. Get rid off expenses make them live on Thier earnt wages . The millions of pounds spent on trying to stop disability payments going through show how vindictive and spiteful they are I’m returning soon in this October it took me a year to get my pip back at two tribunals. I ended up getting a higher rates. I had a fantastic welfare rights officer. I just dug my heels and decided to be biggest pain in the arse I could be!

  7. we have two severly disabled sons on pip we rely on this benifit to pay towards there care cost so they can have support in the community if we lost this it would mean they would have to go into full time residential care costing the tax payers even more money the cuts should be made from forign aid and stop the free hotels our disabled are paying the costs of poor government…
