I will be there , I’m severely disabled and under new labour plans , my benefits will be frozen as I’m unable to work. I will be punished for being disabled , when I have lost so much already . I was about to start my medical degree when I became sick . I have 3 severe autoimmune conditions , I struggle most days to get dressed , hardly leave the house , have zero social interaction , and suffer in poverty already . I’m disgusted the government is attacking us . I’ve already lost everything and now they want to make me poorer , when I had no choice in any of this . I was going to specialise in emergency paediatrics as a doctor , that was my dream , now most days I can’t even read a book due to the brain fog and fatigue . I have a genius IQ yet can’t function most days . The sadness and frustration I feel is overwhelming most days . I’m also a single parent and support my daughter on my benefits , as like so many self employed men, my ex husband gets away with not paying child support . The government should go after the billions in child support not given to family by self employed and business owners . Also the super rich, not attack the already poorest and most vulnerable in our country . I would give any thing to be able to work, but I can’t at home or outside of the home, so I will be punished shamed , and called one of those taking the mick because I’m disabled . I will fight as I deserve to be treated fairly and given a decent standard of living !
