Why bother with voting when the two main parties are offering such crappy deals for disabled people, and voting for smaller parties won’t effect the outcome.

Here’s why you should vote:

Older people tend to vote in very large numbers, and they get:

  • Pensions triple lock
  • Free bus passes
  • Many get free TV licences
  • and other goodies

Younger people tend not to vote, and they get:

  • Tuition fees
  • Insecure work and low wages
  • Expensive housing
  • Benefit sanctions

Now we’re not trying to be divisive and set young against old, but we’re showing that politicians know they can bully younger people because they don’t vote much, so there won’t be any comeback at elections, but they are scared of annoying older people who will vote against them.

So if we want a better deal from politics, we need to show that we vote in large numbers and we can hurt political parties that hurt us

So that’s why we need you to register to vote if you are not already, and vote on election day. It’s not very much effort and it could be the only thing that really gets politicians to pay attention to us.

Our future is in your hands
