Greenpeace is taking action against the UK government because of their failures to act on the behalf of people all over the UK in the midst of a cost of living and climate crisis, whilst they line the pockets of fossil fuel companies who are wrecking our planet. On this action we would like to bring the recorded (audio only) voices directly to politicians themselves so that MPs can no longer ignore the voices and realities of people who are struggling with the cost of living crisis.
We would like to record 1 minute of your personal testimony, where we would love you to share your experiences and realities of dealing with the cost of living crisis, how much your bills have gone up and hidden costs people might not know about (e.g. the additional costs or considerations you need to take as a disabled person) that add to this impossible situation the government have put us in. We want to hear how this government has failed and why you are choosing to resist, organise and take action in the face of this dangerous government despite the dark times we’re facing.
Greenpeace are happy to come to you in London, and will record this with you. We will edit some of this so that we have about a minute, and will make sure this is looped to make sure your voice is heard. We need to have this recorded by the 10th of October, and would be so grateful if you could help us please. Thanks so much for considering helping this action and solidarity to you.
