Today DPAC and the Disability Benefits Consortium wrote to the Minister for Disability, Justin Tomlinson MP.

We asked him to make a reasonable adjustment, and extend the deadline for the disability benefits green paper by 6 weeks.

The letter has been published on the DBC website. We also posted the press release we shared with the media here:  – feel free to share with your own contacts.

Below are some suggested tweets to put pressure on the Minister to make this reasonable adjustment. It would be fantastic if we can get as many members and individuals as possible to tweet at the Minister and to highlight how important it is that people have as much opportunity to respond and engage as possible.

As always, we are grateful for your support.

  1. Problem is that Justin Tomlinson has blocked an awful lot of disabled people on Twitter. Simply for having the audacity to inform him of the impact of the policies his department pushes. So, many of us will not be seen by our Minister ;FOR’ Disabled People.
