"We think MCC choosing to deliberately create a platform inaccessible for all speakers - or signers - sends a clear message against democracy for all in Manchester - the exact opposite of the aims of the memorial." - Dennis Queen (Manchester Disabled People Against Cuts)

One Response to “Join the protest against the discriminatory Peterloo Memorial 6th June, Manchester #PeterlooProtest”

  1. It seems to me the simplest answer to this is to keep the basic design of the proposed memorial but have it flat on the ground – created out of tessera perhaps? Then it should be accessible to just about everybody, and there is no hierarchy of names.
