In Glasgow there is a monthly picket of ATOS offices and we’ve been asked to advertise the next one plus a meeting date. At the moment we don’t think the meeting venue is accessible so if anyone knows of anywhere that could be used for free or very cheaply please let us know at mail@dpac.uk.net

Has anyone contacted Terence Higgins TrustGlasgow to enquire over meeting space for free (they have a lift) or other LGBT venues in the city centre which should have meeting rooms (can’t vouch for accessibility). If these organisations are to have any credibility they should be supporting and enabling action against ATOS since very many of their own client groups are badly affected by these ATOS assessments now or will be in the future either via ESA assessments or DLA abolition and PIP assessments from 2013.
thanks for this suggestion. I’ve passed it on.
