There is an emergency meeting for the Manjeet Must Stay campaign which is on Tuesday 7 October at 5pm at the RAPAR office. 6 Mount Street, Basement offices Manchester M2 5NS

Manjeet is the chair of RAPAR and a leading campaigner about the Governments policies on asylum.

At this moment in time SERCO who house people seeking asylum n Manchester have written to Manjeet today telling her she will be evicted from her of over three years on the 9 October i.e. next Thursday.

Yesterday, with RAPAR, Manjeet lodged an application to appeal against this proposed eviction. Today she received a phone call from the Appeals Tribunal saying that she would be called to a hearing about this eviction on the 13 October at 10am in Manchester.
The campaign needs to revitalise now and so if you are able to attend the Manjeet Must Stay campaign meeting we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday,
