The Disability Research Consortium (DRC) includes a range of partners from active disability user-led organisations and grass roots groups. They include DPAC, Inclusion London, Equal Lives ( formerly NCODP) and ALLFIE. We are asking disabled people to tell us what key things that need to change? Which barriers need to be broken in the long term? How can we make this happen together?
We believe that disabled people need to lead the change and take our issues forward. The questions here will help towards that process, and towards our fight-back on our lives and independence. Any questions please email: DisabilityRC@gmail.com

what we need is to MLKit – Martin Luther King it
We need a nationwide campaign – not just amongst disabled people – amongst the whole population – no room for arrogance
we need it loud
we need it visible
we need it nationwide not just in london and the metropolitan cities
we need the WARS – we are not scroungers – to mobilise a language of peace and threat against those that do us harm
we need the DPWT – disabled people with tanks – to support a mass campaign
we need the WDLD3 – we don’t like descriptor three faction – to stand at the back and make a lot of squeeling noises
we need the whole population behind us in the full knowledge that it could be them tomorrow

Disability Research Consortium, who are they ? I did a quick search with startpage & google, but no clear results. i haven’t done the survey yet, but can see no clues or links to who exactly makes up this group of

Is this a Government funded survey ? A think tank ? Private business group ? Or is it really a grass roots group ?
Unless I’ve missed the something, I’m in suspicious mind mode. especially as I’ve filled in many surveys over the past few years and nothings improved for us disabled brits.
It’s really grass roots, nothing to do with government or corporations. It’s DPAC, Inclusion London, Equal Lives all DPOs with impeccable records of fighting for disabled people’s rights
It is interesting to note from today’s Labour Party conference that Liam Byrne did not say he/ labour were going to sack ATOS rather said “David Cameron should sack ATOS” – a little bit different to the hype.
