
We are collecting incidents of disabled people facing barriers to being able to vote in person, or with postal voting in this general election. If we find there are widespread access issues we will put in a formal complaint to the Electoral Commission.
Problems might include:
In person voting:

Problems voting because of lack of photo ID or problems with the ID you take

Lack of step free access, or space to move inside

Doors too heavy to open

Unhelpful election officials

Refusal to accommodate reasonable adjustments
Postal voting:

Difficulty in getting accessible voting forms

Late delivery of postal voting forms
- Difficulty following the postal voting instructions

Lack of accessible help with the complicated instructions
If you have any issues at all where you found it more difficult or impossible to cast your vote because you are a disabled person, we want to know.
