Newcastle DPAC join protest in Rishie Sunak’s constituency

Armed with their stories of the direct effect of the cost of living crisis three DPAC members travelled to Sunak constituency from Newcastle upon Tyne. He was not there to meet us and his office did not seem happy to see us there.
The campaign, “We cannot afford to live” was the headline story on TVs local news that night.  Around 50 demonstrators made their voices heard.
I was asked to explain to a researcher how being in chronic pain was made so much worse when heating is restricted.
This is our 7th joint action with Unite the Community
