Understanding, resisting and building alternatives to territorial and internal borders that divide us and reduce our lives. Picture of a mural created by Andrew Bolton together with Disabled people seeking asylum. On the left there is a person falling from a building with a police car below. A wheelchair user is chained. A man is holding his head. A small figure is tending a grave. A fence divides these people from people sitting outside a large house. Guards with their fingers in their ears are guarding the fence. The sun is shining on that side. At the top a small row of figures is pulling the fence away.

  1. Because they forced us onto unit credit, they then pay us our rent, child tax credits, transitional protection etc, it’s classed as ‘extra income’ which makes us liable to pay HALF of the council tax. It’s wrong as so many people leave it thinking it’ll be sorted out and then they take us to court which costs more with court costs and THEY STILL HAVENT TOLD ANY OF US, that we are liable to pay them. Them and their loopholes

  2. This looks really interested and needed, I however am so worried about the right wing rhetoric coming from other disabled people , we have to look after our own first

I am not one of those….when governments divide the working people , scapegoats are found…..where is our compassion
