Time To Troll the Tories Again
The millionaires in Government are launching a new attack on the poor with an advertising campaign that attempts to blame unemployed, sick or disabled claimants for the problems caused by the rich.
The campaign will be targeted at areas which have large numbers of low income workers who will see their own incomes shrink due to the freeze in Working Tax credits and Housing Benefit.
Once again the out of touch posh boys seem to be heading towards an own goal. Low income workers are one of the most likely groups to have been on out of work benefits themselves as well as have family members struggling to survive on increasingly meagre support. The casualisation of low waged work means many people are in and out of temporary jobs, relying on Tax Credits to survive whilst working and unemployment benefits when not.
In a possible sign of changing attitudes towards the demonisation of unemployed, unwell or disabled claimants, the new campaign has received a cautious response in the comments on the Conservative Home website.
In an attempt to prove that the British public are as callous and contemptible as most Tories, the ads come with a survey. The heavily loaded questions are based on the Tory lie that people on out of work benefits are better off than those with jobs.
There is also space to leave comments about the brutal welfare reforms. Whilst the Tories will no doubt make the results of the survey up if it doesn’t tell them what they want to hear, it is a chance to tell the scum what you think.

Strange, they must have had too many negative comments, it’s not letting me “have my say”.
I still can’t believe that with all their economists and accountants the Government are cutting taxes while sticking it to the unemployed and disabled because of budgetary shortfalls.
Be honest, if you were a business, would you cut income when you have crippling expenditure? NO, so why are the ConDems?
You only need half a brain to see the questionnaire is LOADED towards the response they want. Unfortunately it seems that too many people fail to engage more than half their brain so when someone stands up and shouts, “Oi, those people are stealing your money/jobs. They’re lazy and not part of our society” they just grab pitchforks, blindly follow the lies and lash out at who they are told to.
I despair.
That lazy man is me. I have had three hours sleep in the past 24 hours. I care for a disabled relative without any help, certainly without any state support. I am DONE IN. I have HAD IT. I am READY TO DO SOMETHING. Where’s a good riot when you need one???
I agree totaly with Lovejoy above, the questions are loaded and have been over simplified on purpose, its sickening really! Theres no alternative answer for e.g. Or taxing the super rich in the UK instead of giving them tax breaks! MMM wonder why………………………
The reclassification of the population begun by labour and continued by the tories and lib dems based on some spurious notion of ‘economic value’ has remarkable similarities to the way Germany was organised in the 1930s.It places disabled people and the unemployed firmly at the bottom of the pile.
Any notion of these groups having ‘human value’ is firmly rejected – indeed people in these groups become the ‘waste bin’ of society – dumped upon, mistreated, ignored, devalued, displaced and eventually killed.

“Who should the government support – hardworking families or people who won’t work?”
The main flaw with this question is that it oversimplifies things. Yes there are people who refuse to work (so called doleites) and it is bad that people are in working poverty. However the bulk of housing benefit recipients are working. Plus doleites are the exception rather than the norm. It’s therefore hardly an either or question.
What about hard working families with one lazy household member?
What about hard working families with household members who have become sick or disabled?
What about hardworking familes with household members who were born disabled or sick?
What about hardworking single people?
What about hardworking sick or disabled people who are set to lose their car and job as they can manage to walk further than 20 metres? (I wish I was making that last bit up).
It annoys me how when this sort of thing happens in a dictatorship it’s called ‘propaganda’ yet it just seems to be regarded as okay over here.
“Propaganda” became a socially unacceptable term, it’s now known as “public relations”.
