Calling residents of Barking and Dagenham with experience of applying for PIP!
Studio 3 Arts, based in Barking and Dagenham, have started a new community project ‘Place Like This’, and as part of this have commissioned artist Hannah Kemp-Welch to create a new public artwork with the community. This project will bring together a group of local residents from Barking and Dagenham and the surrounding area, who have experience of applying for Personal Independence Payments (PIP). Together we will look at the complexities of the system and create an audio artwork to amplify our voices and stories. The project will take place via phone and video calls – for more information and to get involved, please contact the lead artist Hannah: hkempwelch@gmail.com
