We say Lord Freud should resign after his disgusting comments that disabled people are not worth the minimum wage.

Freud is the architect of the government’s noxious welfare reform programme that is pushing disabled people off benefits and causing untold distress and misery, in too many cases leading to suicides and avoidable deaths.

The policies Freud designed show utter contempt for disabled people. His latest comments made to a Tory councillor at a party conference fringe meeting confirm this.

What kind of a society are we that the lives of disabled people are left in the hands of someone who thinks disabled people have lesser worth and refers to them as stock.

There are 11 million disabled voters plus their families in the UK. Do the Tories think allowing this type of reprehensible comment to be made by one of their senior ministers will encourage any of us to vote for them? If they wish to retain credibility (if they have any that is)and Freud refuses to resign they must sack him immediately.

Join us to demand  Freud resigns or is sacked. Monday October 20th at DWP head office, Caxton House, Tothill Street, 12.30pm til 2.30pm ….. and if you can’t make the Caxton House Protest – you can join the Twitter Protest

  1. The real reason for the UK’s and the rest of the world’s economic problems are not over-paid workers, or over-generous State Benefits, or migrant workers, or lazy scroungers, or SKY TV or fags or booze, NO, the REAL problem is simply this, that the Rich minority have all the fucking wealth:

  2. Pay everyone a guaranteed basic citizens income as a stipend, and let anyone who wants more than that work for it, whether disabled or not. Those who feel capable of work and choose to do so should be paid minimum wage. Freud’s brain seems to work in reverse. He’s got everything back to front, and arse over tit. Exploitation and unregulated greed are unsustainable. Selfishness and greed of the over-privileged few throws out the starving Proletariat baby with the polluted Collective bathwater. And at the risk of mixing my metaphors even more, it’s Thatcherism Gone Mad, Maggie on Steroids, she put the cart before the horse but this lot have shot the fucking horse, fed it to us, and made the weakest of us pull the fucking cart with one wheel missing. GO NOW FREUD.

  3. NOBODY ASKS TO BE DISABLED!!WORKED ALL MY LIFE UNTIL I WAS TOO ILL TO WORK,SO MANY PEOPLE COMITTED SUICIDE BECAUSE OF THE TORY ELITE,HE WANTS SACKING ALONG WITH THE REST OF THEM,

  4. The sooner, the better!

  5. The biggest insult is not just us with disabilities and conditions that ‘seperate’ us from “normal” in the physicial, sensory and mental sense; the insult also demeans families, parents, siblings, friends and colleagues of disabled people!
Don’t vote for other political party because of this as Lord Freud worked for the previosu government – this is a very serious issue for us all if a semblance of integrity is to be salvaged from the mess.

    • The fact that Freud is unelected, wields great power, and will work for either side (Labour or Tory), doing basically the same job, completely undermines the notion that we live in a Democracy.

  6. Utterly disgusting…the conversation was about “mentally damaged people” – vile …and Freud agrees that setting up such people as directors of limited companies so they would be able to work for £2 an hour is a good idea…
Anyone got a source for the stock quote please?

  7. The fact Cameron and co didn’t sack him says it all, Tory’s agree with him behind closed doors, utterly vile rotten to the core, the lot of em.

    • THE MAIL READERS ARE STICKING UP FOR HIM TODAY AND I WAS CALLED A LABOUR LEFTY LOL WHO KNOWS NOTHING I TO HAVE A DISABLED SON WHO KNOWS WHAT THEIR TALKING ABOUT BUT THEY KNOW F all

    • Yeah but remember Labour employed Freud too! They’re all in it together.

  8. May be this man ought to consider ….There by the grace of God go I.

  9. Another outrage is the media response to Lord Fraud’s thoughts, which are described as a “clumsy choice of words”. This highlights ignorance of disability equality issues and history. Anyone with a basic awareness will immediately smell an enormous rat and recognise that this is MUCH more than a poor choice of words. It is a statement of mindset, an ignorant archaic attitude from a man who is a Conservative MINISTER for Welfare. His thoughts would be damned and quite right, were they aimed at other minority groups.. How can it be legal for interviewees on the BBC to refer to disabled people as “these people” and claim that the context lets Fraud off the hook and that he “meant well”?

As a disabled person who is too ill to work and a former Equalities Officer for a number of Charities I feel like I am dreaming when I listen to such abominable rhetoric. Am I alone in this?
What can I do, given my limitations, to support you, DPAC, in calling for Lording-It Fraud’s resignation?

  10. This vile man is a disgrace to humankind, he should be sacked immediately !
