8 days ago, I was at my local hospital i was told that I have a large tumour on my pancreas, and will need urgent referral to see a consultant at the royal Liverpool hospital, prior to major surgery to have it removed, if that was not bad enough I come home to a letter from my housing association to inform me that they are starting legal proceedings to evict me from 17th June, because I cannot afford to pay my £22 per week bedroom tax, I am 6 wks in arrears. i have also have ulcerative colitis, which is a chronic disease. the shock of receiving the letter from my HA, ended up me having to be hospitalised for a couple of days , just waiting for date now for major surgery, i have applied for DHP still waiting to hear if i will be get any help.

I totally agree and cannot believe how heartless this governent are whilst increasing the incomes of many of the richest. Even the international monetary fund have told them to stop the cuts, Labour have been tellling them to do that all along.

Please tell me how i join the mental health resistance group. I need to do something to help me and others like me. I live will suicidal thoughts every day because of my past experiences of the WCA, at least the thought that there are others out there fighting for a common goal and actually believing what I say would help no end in giving me back some power in a hopeless situation and who knows something I do might just stop someone else taking the step I am considering.

My ESA has also been stopped although my condition hasn’t changed, i have depression which i have a long history of as well as anxiety and osteoarthritis. I also have a eating disorder. I feel suicidal and at my wits end with the way i’m being treated.

The Government and the media use manipulation and propaganda, to direct the negative attention to the less well off in society, notably the disabled and unemployed.

What does the government do draft poor law, which in effect creates social injustice and Government abusing its own citizens.

In this Country for us to be able to do this we would have to meet all the conditions set down by either the Picketing or Demonstration law .We have to notify the Authorities 6 days before a demonstration takes place and the Police can Dictate the conditions to be adhered to or even Ban it. About 100,000 protesters, led by trade unionists, have rallied in the Italian capital Rome against the policies of the new coalition government. They urged the Prime Minister, Enrico Letta, to scrap austerity measures and focus on job creation..
Public trust in his fragile coalition with the centre-right is dropping, opinion polls suggest.
The country is experiencing its longest recession in more than 40 years. National debt is now about 127% of annual economic output, second only to Greece in the eurozone.
Unemployment is at a record high of 11.5% – 38% for the under-25s.

BROKEN BRITISH POLITICS –SUCCESS OF GOVERNMENT REFORMS
They call it a success but the public beg to differ very strongly since the Reforms and even before here are some facts about Government Policy . The Bedroom Tax -Liverpool-based Riverside Group said around half of its 6,193 affected households receiving full housing benefit have not paid anything at all to cover the shortfall, while a quarter contributed something but did not pay their rent in full. Just one in four affected tenants paid the full amount.
The tenfold increase during 6 years under the last Labour government in the number of people receiving help from Foodbanks (by around 36,000 to 40,898) is dwarfed by the increase of 87,799 (to 128,697) that took place in just the first 2 years of the coalition government.
But even that is nothing compared to what happened in the most recent year, 2012-13. The already massive number of over 128,000 almost tripled in a single year to almost 350,000 . Who else is there to look after disabled and elderly people in Croydon, it should be concerted effort from the public, councils and governments to help such demographics, but hey defense comes first right… what a joke. According to the BBC report, Dr Wood who blew the whistle on Atos assessments yesterday, WAS a mental health champion.

“Dr Wood, who was given special responsibility to champion mental health at Atos, said: “I was instructed to change my reports, to reduce the number of points that might be awarded to the claimants. I felt that was wrong professionally and ethically.”

So that’s what those brought in to make the system better and fairer think of it then. They are obviously ignored too, if their recomendations don’t fit the targets. .. (or in IDS speak statistical norms).

As a disabled couple, one a wheelchair user, we were assessed as needing 2 bedrooms on medical grounds – now we are ‘overhoused’ according to the government.
Our local housing association has a list of people in the same position but have no 1 bedroom accessible properties available and don’t even know whether they own any.

The government are trying to make out we are scum. They want to have a look in the mirror.
