  2. My MP has supported the government on 93% of occasions. He thinks he knows best for people, is always right and thereby denies anyone of his constituents a voice. He is a racist and more than likely a fascist which is why he’s in the Immigration Department, ruining more lives as we speak. Do you think he will be interested – or his constituency staff, who are all bigots – in reading this?

Until New Labour invited UNUM and ATOS disabled people in the UK were being more notices and valued that ever. There was the then new Disability Discrimination Act (now sadly and meaninglesssly incorporated into the Equality Act that nobody pays any attention too). It has all spiralled downwards since then. Propaganda is believed and disabled people have to fight ALL OVER AGAIN to define their worth in society against a backdrop of scroungers and fascism. The Labour Party should hang its head in shame. John McDonnell and Michael Meacher have both been part of the decline of disabled people’s standing in the world. This is TOO LITTLE TOO LATE. We need a war not another phoney piece of paper

  4. I read your blog. Early Day Motion 483: Disabled People’s Manifesto :That this House warmly welcomes the launch of the UK Disabled People’s Manifesto .The ability of disabled people to participate in society depends on support for independent mobility; this should be the focus of this fresh consultation.
